We’re Looking for a Final-Year Student – Junior Fintech Developer

NAVCalc is a young fintech company focused on smart tools for investment fund management. We combine software, mathematics, and finance. Our business is growing, and we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us — learning everything from the ground up.

Who We’re Looking For

A final-year student of MFF, FJFI, or another technical university who enjoys programming and is curious about the world of finance and investments. We’re not looking for a full-time position right away — rather someone who wants to start part-time during studies, take on smaller tasks, and after graduation be ready to join us full-time.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to the development of web applications (Python, Django, Vue/React — you’ll learn the technologies step by step).
• Assist with mathematical modeling and validation of financial calculations (NAV, reporting, automation of fund statutes).
• Take ownership of independent tasks and present your results.

What You’ll Need

• Strong mathematical thinking.
• Basic experience with programming (Python/SQL).
• Ability to learn quickly and interest in combining coding and finance.
• Independence, reliability, and an open mind.

How You Can Grow

• During your studies: gradual involvement in projects and gaining practical experience.
• Within 1 year of joining full-time: become an independent developer responsible for complete project modules.
• Within 2–3 years: opportunity to grow into a Product Owner, Project Manager, or client-facing consultant role.
